"It all started back in 1979 when I walked into my first recording studio to cut a demo so my band could get some gigs in the Boston MA. area.I was amazed to see how the mix engineer was able to take what was my ordinary guitar sound and sculpt into a sound that jumped out of the speakers. I was hooked from that moment on.Handling most of the front of house sound for the band while playing the gigs helped me understand how to achieve the punch and balance needed to move an audience.Having spent years as front of house for various bands of different genres on the East coast as well as the West coast has helped me to achieve a keen ear. Making a song have the emotion and impact you're trying to achieve is a passion for me."
